Recently released wand mech 2.1 arrived yesterday and I got to see the new system up close.
The upgrades verses the old style are:
1. Stainless "towers" to replace the delrin ones.
2. Tighter fit where the speed ratio screw fits into the axle.
3. Angled speed ratio screw carriage to further slow the ratio speed.
4. Stiffer mounting plate.
5. Square head on speed ratio screw so you can adjust easier.
All of these improvements are meant to eliminate play/slop in the system resulting in a more consistent ride height. Play/slop usually results in "porpoising" which is when the ride height is consistently inconsistent!
